Top Notch all the way around. My wife and I stay in many different hotels across the country and even though the Village Inn has an old soul, the amenities improvements are better than most new hotels. Erin, the Libations expert in the Pub is as professional and poised as you could hope for. Ask her for a Chocolate Espresso Martini. Its the Best.
Absolutely loved our room! King suite with balcony on the main road side. So clean and charming! Fun little pub on site and adorable pool area. Excellent location. Only thing I did not like is the maid hovering around with the cleaning basket outside the room. She even knocked on the door prior to checkout to see if we were gone yet.
We had a great experience at the Village Inn and Pub! Our room wasn't big but very well appointed with lots of amenities. The bed was super comfortable with just the right amount of high quality linens. The pub was adorable with great live music and very reasonably priced drinks. The breakfast was impressive - everything was fresh and exceeded our expectations. Loved the location and the grounds were well maintained. Will definitely come back!
Everything was fantastic. Pub was an older crowd as was everyone staying there. We are seniors so it was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
The Village Inn is such a fun spot on St. Simons! The bar is always a good time with lots of amazing live music. Erin is hands down the best bartender on the island – super friendly, quick, and makes great drinks. Definitely one of my favorite places to hang out when I’m in town!
Great place, folks are so nice, we are in 212, and want to book for next year ! Good free breakfast, and Happy Hour was cheap, the band was an extra treat.
This review is for the pub only. Came here on a Friday night, place was packed with a live band and plenty of friendly people enjoying themselves. Crowd was mainly people in their 50's and 60's. Seating was limited and it's wasn't a place to have a quiet conversation although the pool area was open and there were tables with people sitting outside that was less noisy. Staff was friendly, 2 bathrooms both unisex. Was a fun place to hang out for the night.
Comfiest bed and room was very clean and cozy. Walking distance to all the shops and the pier. We loved our stay so much! Would recommend to others.
